O presente trabalho visa mostrar momentos da fase inicial da prática do trabalho na docência de duas professoras de línguas, no ensino médio, em escolas públicas. O corpus da pesquisa baseia-se em registros de observações das práticas de ensino das professoras em seu fazer docente, diário de campo produzido durante um semestre de observação em sala de aula. Notamos que as professoras constroem seus letramentos docentes em meio a diferentes saberes, disciplinares e não-disciplinares - tais como o que chamaremos de entremeios na docência.
