    INTER-AÇÃO is a free quadrimestral publishing of the School of Education from the Federal University of Goiás and from the Post-Graduation Program in Education of FE/UFG. Its purpose is to publish upon evaluation in the double-blind system of ad hoc reviewers and members of the Scientific Board, unpublished works resulting from theoretical studies and researches on education, comprehending the following lines of research: Education, work and social movements; State, politics and history of education; Culture and educational processes; Formation, teaching professionalism and educational practices; Foundations of the educational process.

    This first issue of 2023 is dedicated to research papers focused on the scope of the journal, covering our lines of research.

  • Popular National Conference on Education and the Democratization of Educational Policies: Subjects, Processes and Propositions

    The referred dossier proposes to situate the current scenario of setbacks in educational
    politics in the country, marked by neoliberal and neoconservative policies, and, above all, to analyze
    the resistance movements developed by the National Forum of Popular Education (FNPE). From this
    perspective, it seeks to analyze, especially, the role of the collective subjects that make up the FNE, as
    well as the organization processes, including systematization, structure, political-pedagogical
    dynamics and the collective construction of proposals, aiming at the democratization of educational
    policies, having by axis the effective materiality of the National Conference on Popular Education
    (CONAPE 2022) in its municipal, states, district and national stages.

  • The right to Education in rural areas: trajectories of struggles, resistance and challenges

    The proposal of this dossier on the “Right to Education in rural areas: trajectories of struggles, resistances and challenges” aims at reflecting on the experiences of Education in rural areas in Brazil, as well as in other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. In Brazil, this experience has already reached two decades of struggle, materializing itself in a relevant set of Public Policies, achieved through the prominence of peasant movements. Such policies included the development of Education in the areas of Agrarian Reform (PRONERA); initial and continuing teacher education (Bachelor's Degree in Education in Rural Areas; KNOWLEDGE OF THE SOIL and SCHOOL OF THE SOIL); the elaboration of specific textbooks (PNLD CAMPO); the formation of Rural Youth (AGRARIAN RESIDENCY and YOUNG AGRARIAN RESIDENCY), among others. However, with the coup and the rise of the extreme right to power, the public funds destined to the execution of such policies were almost totally extinct, as were the instances of collegiate deliberation linked to them, in which there was a strong participation of civil society. Further aggravating the framework for the execution of such policies, came the challenges imposed by the COVID 19 Pandemic, which had a great impact on guaranteeing the right to education of the peasantry. From this complex context, this Dossier aims at producing an overview of the current situation of the struggles for the right to Education in rural areas, through analyzes of the implementation of different public policies that materialized it, emphasizing the challenges that hover over its continuity in this historical moment of serious threats to public education and the existence of peasants, who face an unreasonable increase in violence by agribusiness on their lands; territories and identities.

    INTER-AÇÃO é uma publicação quadrimestral gratuita da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal de Goiás e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da FE/UFG. Seu objetivo consiste em publicar, mediante avaliação no sistema duplo-cego de pareceristas ad hoc e de membros do Conselho Científico, trabalhos inéditos resultantes de estudos teóricos e pesquisas sobre a educação, abrangendo as seguintes linhas de pesquisa: Educação, trabalho e movimentos sociais; Estado, políticas e história da educação; Cultura e processos educacionais; Formação, profissionalização docente e práticas educativas; Fundamentos do processo educativo.

    Esta primeira publicação do ano destina-se a trabalhos com temáticas que abrangem as linhas de pesquisa das mais diversas temáticas.
