Revista UFG
Vol. 26 (2026)Revista UFG is a scholarly journal affiliated with the Office of the Vice President for Extension and Culture (PROEC) of the Federal University of Goiás. Since 2019, it has adopted a Continuous Publication System (rolling pass) and has been published exclusively online since 2014. The journal is maintained, funded, and edited by the university under an open-access model. Founded in 1997, it has national and international circulation and aims to contribute to reflections on the cultural sphere and university extension as producers of scientific knowledge. Linked to teaching and research processes, it seeks to promote the dissemination of new knowledge, including that arising from artistic and cultural events, as well as extension projects and programs.
Published works are presented in an inter- and multidisciplinary format across various fields of knowledge, such as: Education; Teaching; Communication; Human Rights and Justice; Culture; Environment; Health; Technology and Production; Labor; Letters; Linguistics and Literature. Original submissions are accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English in the forms of original (theoretical) articles related to university extension and visual essays. Texts may address specific aspects of a given field of knowledge or adopt an inter- and multidisciplinary approach, taking into account methodology, theoretical framework, and bibliography.

Vol. 25 (2025)Revista UFG adopted the Continuous Publication System (rolling pass) in 2019, exclusively online (since 2014), and is linked to the Extension and Culture Pro-Rectorate (PROEC) - Federal University of Goiás. The journal is maintained, funded, and edited by the Federal University of Goiás, operating on an open-access basis. Active since 1997, with national and international circulation, the journal's mission is to contribute to reflections involving university extension as a producer of scientific knowledge. Aligned with teaching and research processes, it facilitates the dissemination and promotion of new knowledge generated from extension projects and programs.
Our editorial team approaches the publications in a multidisciplinary manner within the following knowledge areas: Education, Teaching, Interdisciplinary Studies, Communication, Human Rights and Justice, Culture, Environment, Health, Technology and Production, Labor, Literature, Linguistics, and Letters. The journal accepts original submissions in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, in the form of original articles and review articles addressing university extension and culture. The accepted formats include theoretical original articles, reviews, experience reports, and visual essays. These submissions can be specific to a particular knowledge area or interdisciplinary in terms of methodology, theorization, and bibliography.

O periódico é mantido, financiado e editado pela Universidade Federal de Goiás, de acesso aberto (open acess). Atuante desde 1997, de circulação nacional e internacional, que tem como missão contribuir com reflexões que envolvam a extensão universitária como produtora de conhecimento científico e, que, articulada com os processos de ensino e pesquisa, proporciona a disseminação e promoção de novos conhecimentos produzidos a partir de projetos e programas de extensão. Os trabalhos publicados são perpetrados de forma multidisciplinar nas áreas do conhecimento a saber: Educação, Ensino, Interdisciplinar, Comunicação, Direitos Humanos e Justiça, Cultura, Meio Ambiente, Saúde, Tecnologia e Produção, Trabalho, Letras, Linguística e Literatura. Aceita originais em português, espanhol, francês e inglês, na forma de artigos originais e do tipo revisão (review) que tratem da extensão universitária, artigos originais teóricos, resenha, relato de experiência e ensaio visual, que podem ser tanto específicos de uma determinada área do conhecimento, quanto interdisciplinares, no que se refere à metodologia, teorização e bibliografia.

A partir de 2022 a Revista UFG, com o objetivo de se tornar cada mais inclusiva, passou a inserir um vídeo-tradução dos metadados de cada artigo, ou seja, uma tradução do português para a Libras: do título, do resumo e dos dados de artigos publicados na Revista.
