Sign language incorporated into music is a new kind of inclusive art that is getting more and more presence in society. This work aims at knowing the incidence of sign language in musical interpretation, as well as verifying its possible contributions to the musical perception of people with or without hearing impairment. A review of the academic literature on the topic from three of the main specialized databases verifies that the amalgamation of music plus sign language is an inclusive multisensory practice that makes perceptual experiences more meaningful for people with or without hearing impairment.
