Música Hodie is a journal of the Graduate Program in Music of the Federal University of Goiás . Since December 2001, it has been published continuously, initially in two issues per year and, starting in 2019, in an annual edition with a continuous flow. Its Editorial Board and Advisory Board have local, national, and international representation. The journal is indexed in prestigious catalogs such as SCOPUS, RILM – International Repertory of Music Literature, Arts & Humanities Index, EBSCO, and GOOGLE SCHOLAR, and is classified as Qualis (A4) by CAPES.

The Música Hodie Journal aims to encourage scientific and artistic production in the field of music, with an emphasis on topics related to the Postgraduate Program in Music at UFG, currently including Interpretative Practices and Composition, Epistemic Discursive and Formative Practices, and Neuroscience of Music. The publication focuses especially on the most recent musical production.
