ADMINISTRAÇÃO ESCOLAR NA ESCOLA PÚBLICA: PERSPECTIVAS DE DEMOCRATIZAÇÃO DA GESTÃO

Este artigo se propõe a analisar o processo dito de democratização das escolas municipais de Goiãnia, através da discussão das modalidades de gestão das escolas na década de 80, quais sejam: a livre indicação de diretores pelos poderes do Estado, a indicação de diretores por lista tríplice e concurso e o processo de eleição direta para a escolha de diretores das escolas da rede. Sem estacionar na tese de que as posturas comumente autoritárias de vários diretores decorrem da falta de legitimidade de seu mandato ou dos compromissos que porventura venham a defender duratne a sua gestão, procuramos, com este trabalho, analisar as modalidades acima descritas, dando ênfase à eleição direta. Como considerações finais, apresentamos uma pequena reflexão no sentido de questionar se a eleição para diretores, por si só, propicia uma postura democrática do diretor.Downloads
