Abstract

In 2020 was a year marked by the  COVID-19 pandemic. Many of the common practices in force until then gained a new acting locus. Within education, the classroom activities were replaced by online and distance education, at most institutions. In this context, the PET-Engineering Knowledge Connections group, from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), is proposed to conduct two different courses: basic python programming language and computer-aided design, all the both course were using the digital information and communication technologies (DICTs) provided by UFG. Findings confirm the positive influence of sharing experiences and  the implications of this study are considered under the three categories of academic, managerial, and technological perspectives. This can include supporting the introduction of new concepts as part of learning about science and technology, and introducing more general engineering knowledge, through to supporting more constructive (and collaborative).
