Abstract

The presente article aims to introducing the deployment of the practices presented in a teaching postgraduate program by the Postgraduate Program - Professional Master’s Degree - Health Teaching (PPGES), the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS), Campus of Dourados / MS. The stage was realized with the eighth period students of undergraduate nursing course, through exten-sion project in a closed prison system, in the health vigilance discipli-ne. The results demonstrated the strengthening society-university relations, as well as the student’s interaction with real problem si-tuations in the community, in this case, approaching the challenges of discussing health and prison population, a scenario that tends to representations of discrimination and exclusion by society.

Graduada pelo curso de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Mestre pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação Stricto Sensu Ensino em Saúde, Mestrado Profissional (PPGES) da Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do SUL (UEMS) Unidade de Dourados-MS. Bolsista pelo programa, em cumprimento de estágio em docência pela mesma universidade. Atuando sobre a linha de pesquisa: Práticas educativas no enfrentamento de doenças emergentes, reemergentes e infecciosas. População privada de liberdade que vive com HIV/Aids.

Possui graduação em Enfermagem E Obstetrícia pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1990), mestrado em Saúde Coletiva pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (2005) e doutorado em Pós-graduação em doenças infecciosas e parasitária pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (2012). Atualmente é professor assistente da Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul, membro de comissão municipal da Prefeitura Municipal de Dourados, convidado da Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados e conselheiro da Prefeitura Municipal de Dourados. Tem experiência na área de Enfermagem, com ênfase em Enfermagem em Saúde Coletiva, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: enfermagem, representações sociais, educação em saúde, adolescente e pesquisa qualitativa.
