Abstract

It is with great pleasure that we present the new edition of the Música Hodie journal, a space dedicated to academic research, creation, and musical interpretation. As a vehicle for scientific dissemination, the journal aims to foster dialogue among scholars, composers, and performers, promoting deep and critical reflection on the multiple facets of contemporary music.

Author Biography

Anselmo Guerra, Universidade Federal de Goi´ás (UFG), Goi´ânia, Goiás, Brasil

Graduated in Composition and Conducting from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1986), master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Brasília (1992) and doctorate in Communication and Semiotics from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1997). He was a visiting researcher at CRCA - Center for Research in computing and The Arts at the University of California San Diego (1995/6)

He is currently Full Professor at the Federal University of Goiás. He has experience in the area of Arts, with an emphasis on Computer Music, acting mainly on the following themes: musical composition, computational music, electroacoustic music, contemporary music. He was coordinator of the Master of Music at UFG for three terms, and is currently editor of Revista Música Hodie of the graduate program in music at UFG.
