Scientific production on music therapy:
a bibliometry review

Bibliometric, exploratory and quantitative review. The objective was to analyze the bibliometric dispersion of authors, the co-authorship network, journals and keywords on music therapy from 2002 to 2022. Searches in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, with the descriptors 'Music Therapy' and 'Music Therapy'. The results showed the growth of productivity on the subject and the NJMT magazine is the most productive. Brazil ranks 7th among the top 20 countries on music therapy and the most productive in Latin America. UFMG ranks 16th among research-driven organizations.
