This study aims to establish the relationship between the motivation of students participating in a music-social program and the characteristics of teachers and their way of relating to and facilitating activities in the music classroom. Two musician-teachers and 56 students from the Musiquem program of a primary school in Castellón participate in this study. Through a mixed method, interviews, focus groups, observations and a questionnaire are used. A content analysis, simple descriptive statistics and inferential statistics have been carried out. The results determine how the program favors a greater motivation and involvement in the activities carried out in the classroom by promoting listening, respect and the expression of emotions and feelings.
