Abstract

This article sets out to present a partial analysis of the study on the expansion of knowledge production in the context of policies for Science, Technology and Innovation in Brazil, focusing on the setting up of cross-sectoral funds and their impact on the budget of the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development. The study seeks to identify the extent to which cross-sectoral funds have contributed to the implementation of Science, Technology and Innovation policies, and to discuss the interfaces established with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development.
