The trophic ecology of Brazilian bats remains little known, and predation was not consideredas significant for the mortality of these animals. Although there are few records of these interactions,it is well known that many animals with opportunistic behavior may occasionally prey on them. This work aimed to report the opportunistic predation of bats in Brazil through a bibliographical review of the species that predated bats in mist nets and in natural environments, as well as to discuss the feasibility of these interactions to be habitual. The data collection was done from literature reviewthrough online search engines, using keywords in Portuguese and English. We have located fifty-three publications reporting predation, in which we identified forty-nine vertebrates and two invertebrates acting as random predators of bats. These records are important to understand if there is an effectiveimpact on the bat population, besides adding knowledge to the chiropterofauna studies and, consequently, on the feeding habits of the predators.
