Iniciação à Pesquisa Científica na Educação Básica como Forma de Estímulo ao Interesse dos Estudantes

Being a pedagogical strategy that aims to stimulate the development of skills and competences related to
scientific thinking, with a critical and autonomous sense, allowing communication and problem solving.
Scientific initiation is a learning process that should be encouraged from basic education, as through this
learning method students are put in contact with scientific and research methodology, developing their
interest in science. By formulating questions and analyzing the answers, they elaborate hypotheses and
carry out experiments on the results obtained with the consequent dissemination of conclusions, allowing
them to approach the scientific method and effectively understand the natural and social phenomena that
surround them. In addition, initiation to scientific research in basic education encourages student
participation in projects, engaging them in research practices from an early age. This article emphasizes the
importance of implementing scientific research in the context of basic education students' education. This
article was prepared through a bibliographical research based on consultation with renowned authors duly
identified, in compliance with Law nº 9,610/98.
