O estágio na formação de professores/as para a educação infantil: as significações dos/as discentes do curso de pedagogia

Abstract
This article aims to understand the implications of the Mandatory Curricular Internship, carried out in pandemic
times, in the process of initial training for teaching in children’s Education from the meanings of the students of
the Pedagogy course at the Federal University of Catalão (GO). The methodology of this project was based on the
methodological and philosophical foundations of historical-dialectical materialism, based on the theoretical
references of Historical-Cultural Psychology. In order to understand the meanings of the students, we used the
questionnaire and observation as methodological instruments of the research. The analysis shows that the training
of teachers in the Pedagogy course to act as a teacher in children’s education is contained in a scenario that
encompasses a multiplicity of factors that directly impact in their formation with many theoretical, pedagogical,
political, economic, social and cultural fragilities and uncertainties in the formation and construction of identitY.
