The present work aims to present actions developed by an elementary school related to the context of
interdisciplinarity and competences existing in the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC). The central
problem seeks to answer what actions can students do socially in order to contribute to their community? The
objective of this paper is to analyze the actions taken by the students in the light of the concepts of
interdisciplinarity, curriculum, pedagogical innovations and the BNCC. A descriptive research was developed
through documentary and bibliographic analysis as well as analysis of actions performed through care for the
environment, donation of clothes and materials, adoption of animals, improvement of self-acceptance and selfesteem and visits to nursing homes and nursing homes, subprojects. of the central action called Project “Seven
Steps to Change the World”. The study presented the relationship between the need for student understanding
for social knowledge and how, even in a school environment permeated by intense school routines, they should
understand the insertion of young people in the problems of society. As a result it can be seen that students can develop educational projects, relating social actions including their participation and their role in the
community during their student phase, which is expected to later.
