Abstract

This article refers to the results obtained and concerns of a research carried out for the Master's dissertation with the theme on the Pedagogical Sources of Reality – PSR and Regional Curriculum of the Association of Municipalities of Western Santa Catarina – RC AMOSC. The general objective of this study was to understand the importance of the AMOSC Regional Curriculum and the PSR as ways to enhance school geographic education.. The methods used in the research were based on Hermeneutics-Dialogic, the Qualitative Research movement, interweaving bibliographic, documental and empirical studies, ensuring discursive textual analysis to interpret the teachers' production. Finally, it was found that the PSR are articulated with the RC (Regional Curriculum) of AMOSC, through the teachers' planning, and that there are still some ruptures in the concepts of reality and daily life that are dear to geographic education.  In this article, I attribute Gaston Bachelard's metaphor – "The House", referring to the components of the research to the structure of the house, so that we can understand the articulations between PSR, RC (Regional Curriculum) and geographic education.
