Keywords:

This article is about academic productions in Brazil regarding the teaching of the climate component, with emphasis on postgraduate productions (master's and doctorate) and thematic events. We aim to identify which are the most evident and recurrent discussions in these researches, as well as to verify which are the theoretical-methodological aspects of climate teaching component in these studies, in addition to the main contributions, trends, and characteristics of the research. The methodology used in this survey was qualitative research, as it was necessary to analyze the data collected to assign meaning to the themes raised throughout the study. Given the great demand and quantity of productions, specifically in thematic events, we applied a ten-year time frame, for the selection we decided for the initial analysis of the works that presented the terms: Teaching Climate/Climatology, Weather, Climate and Climatology in their titles, abstracts and keywords. We observed that it was possible to present an overview of these productions in the climate teaching content, situating the main themes and debates. We also noticed that the works and researches analyzed handle with little depth, concerning the theoretical-methodological discussions on the climate component, except for recent graduate works, which represents a growing advance in this research area, specificities which we will explain throughout this text.
