This article is about the results of a master's research developed in a municipal school in the city of Ituiutaba-MG. The main objective was to analyze the use of Geotechnologies in Geography classes in the early years of Elementary School I (1st to 5th year). As for the methodological procedures, bibliographic surveys were initially made regarding the teaching of Geography in the early years of Elementary Education, teacher training and the use of Geotechnologies in Geography classes. After the theoretical deepening and due approval of the research at the UFU Ethics Committee, fieldwork was carried out in the school environment, based on the distribution of questionnaires to teachers, analysis of Geography textbooks and development of practical activities using tools Geotechnology in the computer lab. As a result, the students experienced different Geography classes, with digital map productions, educational games, satellite image analysis and searches on Google Earth and Google Maps for themes contained in textbooks. In a way, the research contributed to the discovery of new knowledge for students, teachers and researchers.
