The female gender has historically been subjected to violence and inequalities, even in spaces like the Landless Workers' Movement (MST), which has been fighting for land and equality for 38 years. This research examines the experiences of female leaders in the Baixo Sul region of the MST in Bahia, and the impacts of these experiences on their mental health using cartographic methods. Interviews conducted at the 34th State Meeting of the MST in Bahia indicate that, despite gender parity, women have only recently entered debate spaces, with a common double work shift leading to physical and mental health issues. Care practices include Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PICS), along with support from family, community, and the movement's health sector. The research calls us to think and act WITH and FOR the settled women, developing health care approaches that address their specific race, class, and other social markers.
