Abstract

In March 2020, it was necessary to start rethinking the presence of academic activities in Brazil, due to the limitations imposed by COVID-19. The Faculty of Dentistry of the Federal University of Pelotas (FO-UFPel) has several extension projects, including Endo Z, which has played an important social role since 2014, through endodontic treatments and the provision of specialized training for students and professionals. Since June 2020, this project has started the “Seminários em Endodontia”, which take place remotely through electronic platforms such as: Google Meet, Zoom and YouTube. These seminars are intended to continue the fulfillment of the project's social role and bring continuing education to the community through university extension. Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess listeners' satisfaction in remote project activities through the application of an online questionnaire. The survey had the participation of 39.4% of listeners, that is, of the 160 people who had access to the questionnaire, only 63 responded. For that, a brief profile of the listeners was drawn, their satisfaction was classified quantitatively and qualitatively, and testimonials and suggestions were collected about the remote methodology of the Endo Z extension project. Therefore, it is evident that the participants of the Endodontics Seminars were satisfied, because the students' achievements and feedback were extremely positive, including reports of gratitude for the opportunity to access Endodontics classes in the midst of this period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
