The tutorial education program in academic education
perception of its graduates

The Tutorial Education Program (PET) aims to expand the training of undergraduates included in it through teaching, research and extension activities. Objective: to analyze the program's contributions to academic and professional training in the perception of graduates. This is a qualitative research, with 23 graduates from PET groups at a University in the Brazilian Midwest, from different undergraduate courses at the institution. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and processed through content analysis. Results: Communication skills, leadership, teamwork, creativity were elements incorporated in the training in the perception of the graduate, helping them to enter graduate studies and the job market. Conclusion: The program is recognized by graduates as an important tool that, through research and extension, contributes to academic and professional training, and to the development of interpersonal and social skills.Downloads
