Abstract

The present work has as its theme the Specialized Educational Service (ESA) for deaf children. The approach to this theme was based on the following concern: the extent to which the AEE offered at the Training Center for Professionals in Education and Care for People with Deafness (CAS), located in the city of Goiânia - Goiás offers parameters for the school's AEE regular public? In order to respond to this concern, we conducted a bibliographic study, coupled with an empirical research of a qualitative nature that aimed to analyze the performance of the Specialized Educational Service offered at CAS / Goiânia, in order to state ESA parameters for deaf students in regular schools. We approach as methodological procedures the realization of semi-structured interview, directed to two teachers of AEE, linked to the CAS, being a deaf and another listener. The results of the research show that the ESA offered by the researched institution, is in accordance with the theoretical assumptions of scholars in the area and offers parameters for the regular school to develop the ESA for deaf students, taking into account the three moments of this service, taking into account considering the bilingual learning of deaf children and consequently their social inclusion.
