Abstract

This article aspires to present the extension program “Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade - UNATI”, from Faculdade de Ciências e Letras de Assis - UNESP. Therefore, data from UNATI’s path in the university campus are presented, as well as an over-view of its current functioning and reflections on the importance of a work like this, both for the internal community of the university and for the elderly in the external community who participate in the offered activities. The program has a wide variety of workshops, including in the didatic and artistic-cultural spheres and matters related to health and well being, which are taught weekly and aim at the development of different aspects of the participants. It’s also shown how UNATI has been raising several deployments, such as undergraduate and graduate research, as well as its results, conso-lidated in practices that turn academic activities into affectionate and fruitful experiences for all involved.

Professora Assistente Doutora da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho – UNESP, campus de Assis. Mestre e Doutora em Letras pela mesma instituição. Integra os Grupos de Pesquisa Narrativas Estrangeiras Modernas, Grupo de Pesquisa em Estudos Hispânicos e Tradução, Léxico e Interculturalidade. É docente e pesquisadora do Programa de Pós-graduação PROFLETRAS. Atua como consultora e supervisora da área de língua espanhola nos projetos de extensão Centro de Línguas e Desenvolvimento de Professores (CLDP) e Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade (UNATI), ambos da UNESP-Assis. Suas pesquisas concentram-se principalmente nas áreas de narrativa de autoria feminina, narrativa de extração histórica, literatura hispano-americana e latino-americana, literatura e ensino de língua, ensino e aprendizagem de língua estrangeira (espanhol).

Graduanda em Psicologia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) - Câmpus de Assis. Realiza estágios nas áreas de clínica psicanalítica, envelhecimento, luto e intergeracionalidade. Desenvolve atividades junto à ação de extensão Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade (UNATI) desde 2018, sendo bolsista pela Pró-Reitoria de Extensão Universitária e Cultura (PROEX) em 2020. Atualmente realiza Iniciação Científica com bolsa CNPq sobre relações étnico-raciais na educação infantil.

Em formação para Psicóloga pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), campus de Assis. Atua como estagiária nas áreas da Psicologia Clínica, com ênfase nos estudos de D. Winnicott e da Psicologia Escolar na Abordagem Histórico-Cultural. Desenvolve, durante a graduação, atividades junto à ação de extensão UNATI - Universidade aberta à Terceira Idade, desde 2018 e atualmente, é bolsista pelo projeto.
