The presente article is about the activities developed in the extendive projets “Aprendendo Biologia na UNESP”, in wich practical and experimental actives were perfomed weekly with pupils from Jaboticabal and surroundings schools. This activities, relating to Biology thematics were performed in classrooms of di-fferent schools which attend pupils of several ages, given them a novel teaching, permitting to wake in students the curiosity and interest by objects of studing. Innovative and practical activities aim to stimulate students, giving them an interest in discovering and knowing more about the sciences, it also helps in understan-ding concepts in an innovative way (KRASILCHIK, 2004). The objec-tive of this work is to analyse if these practices contributed to the formation of these pupils and the graduating who performed the activites of the project. Qualitatively, the responses of the project participants to a questionnaire on the activities developed were analyzed. According to the responses, it is noted that this teaching methodology enables learning and reflection on the phenomena in an attempt to explain them, making the student a more autono-mous in the acquisition of knowledge.
