Abstract

Volume 25 of Música Hodie consolidates the journal’s international presence by bringing together contributions from multiple geographical and cultural contexts, reaffirming its commitment to epistemological plurality within the contemporary musical field. This issue highlights the invited article by Denise Hortencia Lopes Garcia, which presents a historical synthesis of the development of electroacoustic music in Brazil between the 1950s and 1990s, strengthening scholarly memory and critical reflection in the field. The volume also features the dossier “Music, Curriculum and Interdisciplinarity: Research Results in Brazil and Spain,” fostering a consistent academic dialogue between the two countries and emphasizing the central role of music in interdisciplinary educational processes. By articulating historiographical tradition, technological innovation, music education, and cultural diversity, this edition reaffirms Música Hodie as an international space for the production and circulation of musical knowledge.
