Abstract

This study approaches teaching and learning processes related to percussion and aims to discuss such activities. It presents a methodology based on social context that integrates intrumental technique and music creation and criticism. The study was developed in a school attended by students of the middle and upper class, which has a program designed for children and teenagers from the lower classes
