Abstract

It is notable that the Brazilian classical music is still very little performed in the country’s concert halls. The lack of knowledge about it by music teachers and students, the difficulties to publish the works and to access them are also facts that make this music hard to reach. This work provides the accessibility to the repertoire of Brazilian music for recorder and piano, through the acknowledgement and organization of the repertoire, the production and publication of a catalogue of works and of a CD recording.
