Hands and fingers: technique, health and success for the clarinet player

This article aims to demonstrate the importance of ergonomic for the clarinet playing. It speaks about the musician’s good habits, which will contribute for professional success and to prevent sickness related to the instrumental performance. It emphasizes the importance of a well constructed instrument for the beginner and, yet, the importance of an appropriated posture of the arms and hands for the technical development of the clarinetist.Keywords: Clarinet; Hand position; Ergonomics; Technique; Health.
