Abstract

The current paper focuses on the recent tendencies of scientific reasoning and how they unfold in music research and its subdisciplines. It addresses the importance of subjective approaches to research, the relativization of concepts which were previously considered static, and the broadening of the research areas in music based on the post-modern reasoning paradigm, among other aspects.
