CALL FOR PAPERS – MÚSICA HODIE | Volume 26 (2026)
Música Hodie invites submissions of original articles for Volume 26 (2026), welcoming research in Music, Sonic Arts, and related interdisciplinary fields, in accordance with the journal’s editorial scope.
In alignment with the principles of Open Science, editorial best practices, and international indexing criteria, particularly those of the SciELO Program, the journal establishes the following essential requirements for submission:
Research involving human participants must indicate approval by an appropriate Research Ethics Committee (CEP/CONEP or equivalent), declare compliance with applicable national and international ethical standards, and provide evidence of Informed Consent, ensuring voluntary participation and the protection of participants’ identities.
Research data used in the study (questionnaires, forms, interview scripts, documentary records, or other instruments), when applicable, must be deposited in the Harvard Dataverse platform (https://dataverse.harvard.edu), configured within the Research Data Repository of the Federal University of Goiás (RDP/UFG). Data may be made available through open or controlled access, depending on their ethical sensitivity, and must be accompanied by minimal documentation (methodological description, data dictionary, or README file) to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
In studies involving human participants, anonymization or pseudonymization of data is mandatory, as well as strict observance of the confidentiality conditions established in the Informed Consent.
All manuscripts must include a statement of originality, disclosure of conflicts of interest, information on funding (when applicable), and an authorship contribution statement, preferably following recognized taxonomies such as CRediT.
Música Hodie reaffirms its commitment to academic quality, research ethics, and editorial practices aligned with international standards of scientific visibility and indexing.
Submissions are open according to the editorial calendar of Volume 26 (2026).
