Resumo

The purpose of this study is to reveal a general picture of the phenomenon that concert performance represents and how its content and functioning are directly influenced by its practical and theoretical components. The materials for studying the main theme include information that reveals the evolution of the concert and performance art, its continuous modernisation and broadening of its scope. The methods used to study the above-mentioned object are system analysis, the principle of deriving categories and generalising the data obtained by creating a panoramic picture reflecting the volume and multi-component nature of the phenomenon under study as a holistic system. The result of the work performed is, on the one hand, to establish a set of the most important categories – the elements of theoretical and practical components of concert and performance activity and, on the other hand, to form a picture-panorama which gives a general idea of the issue, its content and the ways of its implementation in the life of society. The opinions of scholars from different countries, schools, stylistic and research fields concerning the topic of the title are also presented.

Liliia Shevchenko, is a Professor, Doctor of Arts at the A.V. Nezhdanova Odesa National Academy of Music. She has the title of “Honored Artist of Ukraine”. The basis of her professional interests are such topics as the specifics of the innovative thinking of a specialist in musical professionalism, sacred origin of the instrumental plurality of musical performance as signs of piano playing, readiness for innovations of a professional musician in the embodiment of the civilizational specifics of musical professionalism.

Iryna Mogylevska, is an Associate Professor, PhD in Arts, and head of the Department of Concertmaster at the A.V. Nezhdanova Odesa National Academy of Music. The area of interest is executive interpretation, the importance of performing and teaching practice in the class of accompanist training, theoretical aspects of the education of accompanists in a music university, and improving the accompanist training of students.

The work of the scientist is aimed at studying the phenomenon of the Biedermeier piano music in XIX century, Symbolism in philosophy, in the artistic sphere and in musical performance, Stylevéy aspects of piano works by J. Rossina in the light of Biedermeier's aesthetics.

Maryna Rusiaieva, is an Associate Professor, PhD in Arts at the A.V. Nezhdanova Odesa National Academy of Music. She has many speeches at international scientific and practical conferences. She is the co-author of the educational and methodical guide “Culture of India” (Odessa, 2016). The sphere of interest is Music as a subject of philosophical and cultural education, Musical cosmism as a phenomenon of culture, Didactic foundations of the methodology of teaching cultural disciplines and Social functions of music and some aspects of the development of the musical genre.
