Abstract

Our issue features articles focusing on gender issues in the first section, indigenous and quilombola themes in the Amazon region in the second section, environmental issues as a connecting theme in the third section, disputes surrounding special education in Brazil in the fourth section, and inequalities as the theme connecting the fifth section. Continuing on, incarceration and the militarization of education bring together our sixth section. In the field of current educational policies, educational reforms have been the subject of much research and study, with articles presented in the seventh section. The theme of teacher training and health is the focus of the eighth section. Finally, our ninth and last section brought together articles on different themes: adolescence, cinema, children's literature, curriculum, and Paulo Freire.
