This article aims to highlight the freirean thought in the discussions about curriculum in the Postgraduate Programs in Education in the Paraense Amazon. The Bibliographic State of Knowledge research proposes to answer: in which way Paulo Freire's conceptions transversalize the research of Theses and Dissertations with the curriculum field? Data collection was carried out in the time frame from 2006 to 2018 on the websites of the UFPA and UEPA Education Programs. The results show dialogues built in three sub-areas of the curriculum: Curriculum Policies; Teacher training; Curriculum educational practices, revealing Freirean thought in movement together with different contemporary issues committed to the humanization and liberation of Amazonian individuals.
