For V. 49, N. 3, December of 2024, The Editorial Committee elected as theme Educational and school inequalities and social markers: arrangements, research and proposals. The submission period for this dossier is from 07/12/2024 to 09/30/2024. Papers/Articles should relate to the following theme:

Abstract: This dossier is justified because it focuses on a topic that is of interest to researchers from a variety of fields. The configuration and imbrication with social markers, as well as the articulation and asymmetries of different approaches and perspectives, represent a fruitful field of discussion concerning educational and school inequality, particularly in light of the SARS COVI-19 pandemic. In other words, the dossier aims to facilitate discourse on the nexus between educational and school inequality and the social markers of race/color, gender, socioeconomic status, territory, and disability, as well as emerging forms of discrimination in diverse educational and school settings. To achieve this objective, we encourage the submission of studies of a theoretical and methodological nature, as well as empirical analyses that present the configurations, delineations, and invisibility of individuals from different perspectives, scenarios, contexts, and territories in which inequality materializes. Furthermore, the studies can adopt an interdisciplinary and cross-cutting approach that considers the historical, social, economic, cultural, and political aspects related to educational and school inequality.

Coordinators: Carla da Conceição de Lima (UFVMJ); Andrea Paula de Souza Waldhelm (PUC-RIO); Flávia Pedrosa de Camargo (IFMS).

We therefore invite you to send us your article on the proposed theme, following the submission deadlines.
