Tendências do currículo da formação superior em Educação Física: universalismo ou relativismo

Tensions arise within the curriculum in such a way that the subjects comprising it tend to oscillate between the universal and the relative. Thus, this article aims to identify trends in higher education training in Physical Education during the process of adaptation by Federal Universities to Resolution 6, of 2018. A documentary analysis was conducted on the curricula of institutions offering programs in both licentiate and bachelor's degree modalities by analyzing their course content. It was observed that there is no uniformity among the institutions' curricula; the subjects show a certain degree of plurality, even among universities within the same region; and there is no consensus on certain universal bodies of knowledge that are essential for teacher education.
