Abstract

This article is a report on the experience of four TOPCHINA fellows, which had as its central theme "Sustainability in Urban Spaces". Theoretical studies developed by the authors of this work on the theme Sustainability Education and published in 2010, are the basis of this report, which aims to enhance the complexity of students’ signification networks to share their observations on a particular object in interactional communicative contexts. The theoretical hypothesis raised in the article written in 2010 was experienced during a workshop at Peking University, by the researcher and the students involved in the program under the optics of Architecture, Law, Physical Education and Publicity, entitled "Questioning some actions for Sustainability in the City of São Paulo: from the urban space to suburban." At the end of the presentation was created a forum where contributions were made in the areas of knowledge of the other participants.
