Edson Ferreira Duarte, Universidade Federal de Goiás, Instituto de Ciências Biológicas, Departamento de Botânica, Goiânia, GO

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho(1997), mestrado em Ciências Biológicas (Botânica) pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho(2001) e doutorado em Agronomia pela Universidade Federal de Goiás(2007). Atualmente é Professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal de Goiás, Revisor de periódico da Magistra, Revisor de periódico da Pesquisa Agropecuária Tropical (UFG), Revisor de periódico da Semina. Ciências Agrárias (Online), Participação em projetos de pesquisa da Agência Goiana de Desenvolvimento Rural e Fundiário, Revisor de periódico da Rodriguésia (Impresso), Revisor de periódico da Ciência Florestal (UFSM. Impresso), Revisor de periódico da Iheringia. Série Botânica, Revisor de periódico da Journal of Seed Science (0101-3122), Revisor de periódico da Scientia Agraria Paranaensis e Membro de corpo editorial da Revista de Biologia Neotropical. Tem experiência na área de Botânica, com ênfase em Fisiologia Vegetal. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas:Bromeliaceae, Fenologia, Propagação, sementes, Cultivo.
