This work presents an experience mediated by technologies in early childhood education carried out at DEI/CAPAE/UFG in the 2020 academic year. The methodology used was literature review, document analysis and participant observation. Data were collected from the teachers' plans and through participant observation. The study presents the pedagogical proposal developed, its methodology, the digital platforms, the themes worked on and the materials. It reflects on the contradiction of meeting the educational needs of children during the COVID 10 pandemic and the certainty that remote learning is not suited to the specifics of pedagogical aspects in Early Childhood Education. It proposes an alternative: non-attendance educational activities of an optional nature and aiming at bonds with children and families. It considers that teaching work in cyberspace brings a break between the planning/execution dialectical pair, as those who carry out the proposals are the parents. This split affects another dialectical pair: objective/assessment making it difficult for teachers to understand what the child has learned and making the assessment process a challenge. It concludes that the impediment to be with the children, and still have to create bonds with them, providing them with learning and knowledge, brought an unprecedented teaching condition.
