Contracolonização, linguagens e educação: da guerra por territórios a uma educação contracolonizadora

This article, which is essayistic in nature, aims to debate counter-colonization in the context of academic education, using language as a field for implementing colonizing and counter-colonizing territorialities and educational perspectives, based on Antônio Bispo dos Santos (2015; 2018; 2023). The article briefly reviews the context of the colonial invasion of Brazil as a war for territory that has unfolded to the present day, highlighting operations of this war conducted in the field of language. The final third of the text is dedicated to problematizing Brazilian universities, reflecting on a Eurocentric model of Education and counter-colonizing possibilities in the academic field.
