From an understanding of language with interaction and textual genre as a
teaching tool, the present work aims to describe a proposal of reading activity and linguistic analysis from an example of the genre tale and its stylistic resources. For this, we retrieve the theoretical contributions of Possenti (1996), Cunha and Cintra (2008), Neves (2011), Perini (2010), Bagno (2011), Givón (1979, 1984) and Martellotta (1996, 2011). The proposal described makes it possible to increase the knowledge of the genre, the skills and abilities of reading and linguistic analysis, as well as to recognize the textual functions of the indetermination of the subject.
