The objective of the study was to systematically analyze the procedures employed by the outsourced cleaning team of a sports center in São Carlos, SP. The aim was to identify the most significant recurrent failures and, based on this understanding, develop a viable solution. The qualitative approach, through a case study and process management methodology, proved effective in analyzing and solving operational challenges. The research is characterized as an extension project to the external community, as it resulted in the implementation of a manual addressing workspace organization, prioritized task flow, and efficient communication channels, contributing to more effective operational management. The manual, in addition to positively impacting operational efficiency, can serve as a valuable reference for future research on process management and the integration of outsourced employees. Future research could explore the long-term effectiveness of the manual, adapting the model to various organizations and investigating additional strategies to optimize the integration of new outsourced employees, contributing to the continuous development of efficient managerial practices.
