This article falls within the didactic field, focusing on the teaching practice of the teacher educator responsible for training pedagogues, considering the dimension of teaching action. In this context, it aims to discuss the role of this educator from a complex perspective, aiming for a sensitive, investigative, and conscious teaching approach. Methodologically, it was developed in an essayistic format, aiming at a theoretical discussion with a reflective approach, based on the epistemological lens of Complexity and Transdisciplinarity. It addresses sensitivity in the teaching practice of the educator, research as a didactic principle, and possibilities for a complex, transdisciplinary, sensitive, and conscious teaching approach. As a final consideration, this essay highlights the need for the teacher educator to reflect on their teaching practice in a transdisciplinary manner, acknowledging that thinking, feeling, and investigating form a recursive web in the pursuit of awareness for a more human-centered practice.
