Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the teaching project Multilevel Geopolitical Economy, covering the 2023-2024 cycle of activities. This teaching project emerged from the instructor's effort to create a more interactive classroom experience, emphasizing dialogue and debate on topics relevant to contemporary geopolitics and aligned with students' interests. This approach began with the return to in-person classes after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, and, due to its identified positive impact, it was formalized as a teaching project at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). In addition to detailing the methodology used for conducting these sessions, this article presents each topic discussed along with its corresponding reference materials and provides a concise analysis of each. The main outcomes thus far are twofold: first, active student participation in selecting applied analysis topics, thereby bridging the gap between theory and practice in the curricular content; and second, the creation of a highly inviting entry point for initiating scientific research.
