Abstract

This article aims to narrate Dona Augusta’s life story, based on her relationships with the countryside and education. To develop the research, I used the life story, which aims to apprehend and understand life as the individual reports and interprets it. To tell Dona Augusta's life story, I conducted an interview with her in December 2023. The interview was approached with questions about her childhood, family, studies and relationship with work in the field. I was able to conclude that Dona Augusta's life story gives visibility to her experiences, her individual and social practices, her relationships with the countryside and education, her ways of life, and her existence in diversity and gender differences as a rural woman. Furthermore, it highlights how their experiences were essential to establish their current relationships with education and the countryside.
