MUSICS OF REPRODUCTION AND RESISTANCE FOR HUMAN FORMATION? REFLECTIONS FROM ADORNO'S PERSPECTIVE

The present work understands that the Frankfurtian theoretical discussion goes beyond the analysis of the cultural product itself, always being necessary to observe the relationship between society and culture. This is a conceptual research, of qualitative nature, whose theoretical framework is based on the discussions conducted by Adorno about enlightenment, human formation, and music. Moreover, works pertinent to the theme were also used for the development. The objective was to comment on two musics, one of reproduction – which perpetuates the logic of the cultural industry – and the other of resistance – which escapes from standardization and considerate art as a sui generis language. The study observed in Pipoco (2022) elements of standardization, and in Verklärte Nacht (1899) the valorization of music as language, allowing the exercise of listening praxis.
