The work plan ''Animation Cinema - from shadow theater to computer graphics'' promotes discussions about techniques and films from different countries, inviting animators, graphic artists and other people that have knowledge about the themes presented in the films to debates made through the Google Meet platform, under the teacher's guidance. The main objective of the project is the formation of an audience, through the promotion of discussions on the proposed themes. 13 events were developed, with a total of 118 members, 11 of which were invited debaters. For the most part, the debates brought up deep themes in an accessible way to listeners, noting that the events were advertised as an easily accessible place, where interested individuals could participate freely, having only the requirement to watch the previously discussed film when the debates took place. The themes had varied themes and origins, such as a psychoanalytic view of the film Spirited Away, a Japanese film, a behaviorist view of the film My Life of a Zucchini, a Swiss and French film, in addition to a month dedicated to artists, where animators and graphic artists brought their work to talk about the creation process, inspiration and other details of their work. The project promoted debates involving several animated films from several different countries for people from different regions of Brazil, thanks to the virtual mode in which the debates took place, through the Google Meet platform. In addition to film-based debates, the project also promoted events inviting animators and artists who work with graphic design to promote conversations about their work.
