This paper, written in the context of the pandemic, which began in 2019, brings the house as a political space of disciplining and resistance, a stage for feminist struggles in the light of what Federici (2019) brings us, with regard to its importance as a support of the capitalist economic system; Pellegrin (1999), in drawing our attention to the historical records of the gender-based division of labor in needlework; and Vicente (2012), in the field of art in the face of the construction of the discourse of a feminine art as a domestic art, produced in the context of the home. These discussions are brought to the present moment in which women, and not only, turn to the domestic space, giving us the opportunity to question how we are historically located in the face of feminist struggles regarding domestic care, around the house. as a work space, as a place of artistic creation and even as a privilege nowadays
