Abstract

The Virtual Art Gallery/GAV21 extension project, linked to the Federal Institute of Amapá, appears as an alternative in the face of the social isolation of Covid-19, configuring a strategic tool for sharing artistic productions in a digital environment on the internet. Aiming to encourage ideas, subjectivities and motivate poetic conceptions, the project gives visibility to the authorial productions of students and other art-makers in moments experienced before and after the countless mishaps that marked the lives of amapaenses due to the blackout that occurred at the end of 2020. GAV21 assumes a cultural mediation and a way of doing professional education with collaborative institutional actions. A website about art enables entrepreneurial inspirations with a focus on the educational and cultural context, enabling approaches in curatorial and digital innovation practices. There were many expectations for the frontier of the 21st century, few imagined losing the connection between art and life.
