Abstract

This report aims to present theoretical and methodological ponderations made possible by the extension activities of the (Auto)Biographical Movement of Musical Education in Brazil (Movimento (Auto)Biográfico da Educação Musical no Brasil), developed by two research groups and entailed to an institution on the North of Brazil. Such consideration comes from the perspectives and studies of two students that participated in it. It discusses, specifically, the (auto)biographical perspective while research methodology, a means to knowledge production and formation. Therefore, it is possible to verify that the extension activities, articulated to the teaching and research, fructify and consolidate the knowledge that surpasses the academy and have the potential to produce papers on an inter-institutional network that develop work and research with the community.
